Swap Till You Drop is a trip swap board for flight attendants, operated by Good Fourtune (“we”, “us”) in Playa del Rey, California. This policy explains what we collect, why, who else handles it, and how to get it deleted.
The short version: we collect what the app needs to match trips, we never store hotel information or your schedule screenshots, we have no ads or tracking, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, username, airline and base. Your password is handled by our login provider and stored only in hashed form. We never see it.
- Trips and alerts: trips you post (dates, airports, layovers, position, report and release times, and any note you add) and the alerts you set for trips you want.
- Messages and connections: messages you send other members, friend requests and friends, people you block, and reports you file.
- Your schedule: if you upload a screenshot of your calendar or a rotation, we read it, keep the trips we find, and throw the image away. We never store the screenshot. Hotel names, hotel and shuttle phone numbers, transport companies and crew names are removed before anything is saved. We also count your scans each month to apply your scan allowance.
- Notification settings: which alerts you want and how. If you turn on push notifications, we store your device’s push address. If you add a phone number for text alerts, we store it.
- Membership: whether your membership is active, and the customer and subscription IDs our payment processor gives us. Your card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Suggestions and support: anything you send through the suggestion form or by email.
How we use it
- To match posted trips with alerts and tell you when a match shows up.
- To show your trips and schedule to the people you choose.
- To run your membership and billing.
- To keep the board safe: reviewing reports, removing content that breaks the rules, and suspending accounts.
- To answer you when you contact us, and to send account emails such as sign-up confirmation.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Who can see what
- Trips you post are visible to members at your own airline. They are never shown to other airlines.
- Your schedule follows the visibility you choose: only you, your friends, or members at your airline. The default is friends.
- Your username appears on your trips and messages. Your email address and phone number are never shown to other members.
- Blocking someone hides your trips from each other and removes your matches.
Services that handle your data for us
We use these providers to run the app. Each one only gets what it needs for its job:
- Supabase stores the database and runs logins (servers in the United States).
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Stripe processes membership payments.
- Anthropic reads the schedule screenshots you upload and returns the trip details. Anthropic’s commercial terms do not let it train its models on this data.
- Google Workspace sends our emails and holds our support inbox.
- Your browser or phone maker’s push service (such as Apple, Google or Mozilla) delivers push notifications if you turn them on.
- A text-message provider delivers text alerts if you turn them on.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time in Settings. That permanently removes your profile, trips, alerts, messages, schedule and connections right away. Copies may remain in backups for a limited time before they roll off. Stripe keeps its own payment records as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@swaptillyoudrop.app. California residents have these rights under California law, and we give them to everyone. We will not treat you differently for using them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and the database only lets each member reach the records they are allowed to see. No system is perfectly secure, so if you think your account has been misused, contact us right away.
Age
Swap Till You Drop is for working flight attendants, and you must be 18 or older to use it. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell members by email or in the app before it takes effect.
